Castagne: Faes loving Leicester fans

Leicester City defender Timothy Castagne admits that teammate Wout Faes is enjoying the appreciation of the club's supporters.

The centre-back is working hard to get the crowd pumped up before each game, having joined Leicester from Reims in the summer.

Faes getting into the team has led to Leicester managing four clean sheets in the past seven matches, as they continue to push away from the relegation zone in the Premier League.

“You see he likes it," Castagne told LCFC TV.

“I was laughing with him about a moment in the game against Leeds. He made a tackle where the ball was already going out. I said: 'Why did you do that? Just to bring the crowd in?' He said: 'Yes!'

“It's nice to see they get a bit of excitement. It's good to see that they're enjoying it and it's good to see he gets some motivation out of it.

“He's made a big difference. He's very aggressive. He's always going into the duels. That's what we want to see when we try to put pressure high. That helps a lot.

“On the ball, he takes it, he's not scared of walking in and trying to find a good pass. That gives us confidence to try to play from the back."
