Marco Cassetti has signed a new contract with Roma.

The veteran wing-back has penned a 12-month contract extension to keep him at Roma until the end of next season.

"I am very happy for this contract, and thank the society for having given the opportunity to keep on playing here," Cassetti told TMW.

"Before the start of the season, we will find ourselves battling against Inter, in the Italian SuperCoppa.

"Everyone on the team will give it our utmost to win."
