Everton are set to go after Sporting CP's Islam Slimani this summer.
According to O Jogo, the Toffees will look to use some of the investment made by new part-owner Farhad Moshiri by making a £23million offer for the Algerian striker.
A number of other clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Newcastle United are also keen on the 27-year-old but Everton will look to swoop first after missing out on him in January.
Slimani has been in Lisbon since 2013 and this season has netted 18 goals in the Primeira Liga for a total of 47 in 100 appearances for the Portuguese giants.
