Aston Villa defender Matty Cash has hailed the arrival of Unai Emery after his side made it two wins from two in the Premier League.
Despite a tough start to life at the club on paper, Emery has managed to take six points from the first six available going into the World Cup break.
Villa followed up a win over Manchester United last weekend with an impressive victory over Brighton this time around.
“We've worked on one full-back going, one staying. He doesn't want us to go too often because we've got attacking quality. We need to be more stable. Whatever the gaffer wants, I'll do it," Cash told BBC Sport.
“This club has no roof, it can go all the way to the top. We have to be patient, be hard to beat and keep climbing the ladder, climbing the table.'
“Brighton are a really good side, they make it difficult when every team comes here. We were really good, we were resilient. The manager has drilled it into us that we need to be hard to beat," he added.
