West Ham United striker Andy Carroll is hoping the club can put their injury woes behind them in 2016.
The 26-year-old has been constantly troubled by injury niggles this season and has managed only 11 league appearances for the Hammers who have also been without the likes of Dimitri Payet, Manuel Lanzini, Diafra Sakho and Victor Moses at stages of the campaign.
Carroll marked his comeback from injury by coming off the bench to score the winner in the 2-1 triumph over Southampton on Monday to put an end to the Hammers' run of eight games without a win and the towering centre-forward was now looking for a positive run for the East Londoners.
"We have got players coming back from injury and a big and deep squad so 2016 is looking positive," Carroll told the club's official website.
"It has been eight or so games since we won so we are all delighted and I am just glad we got the win in the end.
"I have had a little niggle so it was great to be back out there."
