Carrick joined by children as Man Utd career comes to an end...?

Manchester United's Michael Carrick was joined by his children at Old Trafford during the final game of the season against Bournemouth on Tuesday night, suggesting that the midfielder could well leave over the summer.

With Carrick's contract at United set to expire this June, it remains to be seen whether or not the veteran will remain at Old Trafford beyond the end of the current campaign.

However, as a huge indication that Carrick could well be leaving United, the 34-year-old was accompanied by his kids onto the Old Trafford pitch after the 3-1 win over Bournemouth and it was a gesture similar to the one handed to former stars Rio Ferdinand and Patrice Evra a couple of seasons ago, when their respective futures at the club were in doubt.
