Liverpool hero Jamie Carragher says Tottenham are going backwards under manager Jose Mourinho.

Carragher reckons they were far closer to winning things under Mauricio Pochettino.

Indeed, he reckons Pochettino was "one or two" players from making Tottenham genuine challengers, but believes that number has gone up since Mourinho took over.

He told Sky Sports: "Pochettino was one or two players away I think from winning the league.

"Jose Mourinho needs four or five players just to get back to where Pochettino was."
