Liverpool hero Jamie Carragher has rapped Takumi Minamino for his miss in their Carabao Cup semifinal against Arsenal.

The first-leg finished 0-0 at Anfield, with Minamino blowing a great chance to give the Reds the advantage.

"Just on composure. He panics, runs into it and he hits it with his laces," said former Liverpool defender Carragher on Minamino's late miss.

"If he shows some composure and just waits for the ball, he sidefoots it in. But, in a nutshell, that summed up Liverpool tonight and also summed up Minamino's Liverpool career.

"It just hasn't happened for him at all. He's never really done a lot in a Liverpool shirt, and that sums it up."
