Jamie Carragher has denied tapping up Wolves captain Ruben Neves.

Neves has long been admired by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp since his days with Porto.

Carragher was captured speaking to the 25-year-old prior to their clash with Fulham on Friday night - something he was forced to deny as Neville couldn't resist a dig.

"In terms of Ruben Neves, you were tapping him up earlier," quipped presenter Kelly Cates.

"No, no," Carragher replied. "We're allowed to joke. What goes on in the green room, stays in the green room, Kelly. We've all got little different avenues," he added in response to the tongue-in-cheek comment.
