Carpi director Giancarlo Romairone has confirmed interest in Chelsea midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah.

Chalobah, on-loan at Napoli, is on Carpi's radar, along with Jacopo Dezi and Rafael.

“We are evaluating how to reinforce the squad. We want young players who can give us a hand to achieve safety," director of sport Giancarlo Romairone told Radio Crc.

“We do have some interest in Chalobah, Rafael and Dezi, players who aren't getting much time at Napoli and could have the chance to show what they can do at Carpi, but we haven't talked about it yet."
