Carlos Tevez favourite for Rosario Central job

Former Manchester City and Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez is to be named head coach of Rosario Central.

Argentine media sources Tevez, 38, is set to beat highly-rated Pablo Sanchez to the coveted role.

Both men met with Rosario chiefs for extensive interviews this week.

Tevez recently expressed his desire to move into the dugout.

He told Ole: “I'm going to be a coach, I made the decision that I'm going to manage.

“I got excited, I'm very hooked. I'm ready to manage now."
