Carlos Perez is four games away from a new contract at Barcelona.

The midfielder's current deal includes a clause that it will be upgraded and extended should he play seven first team games this season.

Perez has been a revelation this season, holding his place after shining in preseason.

Together with Ansu Fati, Pérez is the big surprise of the beginning of the season at Barca. He's managed 272 minutes so far.

The 21 year-old won his first Spain U21 cap this year.
