Carlisle United have landed Middlesbrough striker Danny Graham on a two-year deal following his successful loan spell at Brunton Park.
He scored seven goals in 11 appearances to push the club to the brink of the League One play-off places and has now signed on a permanent basis following his release by Gareth Southgate.
Carlisle boss Neil McDonald said: "We know what he's all about, he's shown us all that he's a goalscorer at this level, and we're really looking forward to getting him playing for us again.
"We need players who can score goals, and Danny is one who can do that. He was very high up there on the list of players that we have been after, and I'm delighted that we have got him.
"He's the first of our signings as we rebuild, although I won't be putting a number on how many we will be bringing in."
