Carlisle United manager Steven Pressley insists Newcastle United are happy with his treatment of Elias Sorensen.
The on-loan Danish striker has struggled for minutes so far this season for the League Two side.
Pressley is adamant United are "very happy" with his treatment at Carlisle.
He said: "We're treating him really well. In terms of game time of course they [Newcastle] will be disappointed. They've put a player out who wants to play.
“But I spoke with Shola [Ameobi, loan manager] yesterday and we had a conversation. I briefed him on a number of things. I spoke to him in person when he came up to watch him in the EFL Trophy game against Wolves.
“Of course they want him to be playing more, but they told me they're really happy with how he's been treated and the additional work he's doing.
“They said after the Wolves game that was the hardest they'd ever seen him play and work."
