Carles Alena is determined to make it at Barcelona.

The midfielder knows he faces a battle to achieve his dreams, but isn't giving up.

He told Sport: "Yes, it is clear. Moreover, I know people who have experienced this situation. You are in the best club in the world, with a pressure above the rest, and it is difficult to keep up.

"It is one of the most complicated things, that is why there are not many who have been here so many years.

"Because you have to have everything: patience, be there at the right time ... Making a career at Barça is one of the most difficult things and of course I think about it. But I am here to fight for it."
