Aston Villa striker John Carew insists they're capable of cracking the top four next season.
He told AVTV: "It was a disappointment in the end. But we have to look at the positives.
"We are improving every season - no doubt about that. We had the chance to finish in that top four - and we created that ourselves. We should be proud of that.
"We didn't manage to keep it going - but we just have to make sure we learn from that. The players will get experience from being in these kinds of situations and they'll be better for it.
"Our overall goal is to get into the top four. This season has been positive but we just couldn't keep it going. But we must remember, a few months ago we were well ahead of Arsenal so we are capable of doing it."
