Cardiff City fullback Declan Rudd admits he grew up idolising manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
John, 18, supported Manchester United as a youngster and admits he was thrilled when Solskjaer, whose goal-getting Old Trafford exploits he admired so much, was appointed manager of the Bluebirds.
He told WalesOnline: "Man Utd were always my team growing up. There were plenty of players I admired, but the gaffer would go on for United and score lots of goals.
"I was a striker at the time and enjoyed watching him. It was brilliant for me when he came to Cardiff City, somebody who had been a role model to me."
