Leeds United youngster Sam Greenwood is a loan target for Cardiff City.
WalesOnline says Cardiff have made tentative enquiries about taking Greenwood on loan for the remainder of the campaign as their injury problems grow.
First-choice striker Kieffer Moore is out with a hamstring problem until the New Year, whilst Isaac Vassell and Lee Tomlin remain long-term absentees.
There is plenty of competition for his signature, though, with Bournemouth and Sheffield Wednesday among the many other names keen to sign the youngster.
Greenwood has already netted six goals for Mark Jackson's team this term which has raised questions as to whether he's ready for senior football, at Elland Road or potentially elsewhere.
