Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan has stepped in to try and motivate his players as they battle against the drop.
The Daily Mail says Tan took it upon himself to try to motivate the club's ailing first team by calling them together in their London hotel on Saturday night.
It is understood that the Malaysian billionaire told the Cardiff players to believe they can escape relegation and that they must have faith in their new manager.
Unfortunately for him, his words had little effect as Cardiff lost 1-0 at Tottenham the next day.
