Victor Camarasa admits the Emiliano Sala tragedy hit Cardiff City hard.

Camarasa is on loan at the Premier League club this season from Real Betis and he has opened up about the experience of losing the Argentine.

"The truth is that it's something you do not expect," the Spanish midfielder told Radio MARCA.

"I was waking up every morning keen to know what was happening.

"The coach and the assistants had the worst experience as they were the ones who had dealt with him, but it was a very tough thing for all to take."

"It affected everyone."
