Cardiff join scramble for Nantes striker Emiliano Sala

Cardiff City have joined the scramble for Nantes striker Emiliano Sala.

The Mirror says Cardiff boss Neil Warnock wants to bring Sala to the Premier League.

The Nantes striker has been in lethal form this season and is rated at around £25m.

Cardiff need some firepower if they are to stay up this season.

The 28-year-old Argentine has been prolific this season and has drawn the attention of Everton, Wolves, West Ham and Fulham, who are now coached by Sala's former boss Claudio Ranieri.

Many of Sala's suitors believed Nantes would sell for around £10m but eccentric club owner Waldemar Kita wants more than double that amount for one of Europe's in-form strikers.
