Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay is of firm belief that Peter Whittingham will stay at the club next season.
The attacking midfielder could be tempted to leave the Welsh club after missing out on promotion to the Premier League for the third straight campaign but Mackay feels he will remain at the Cardiff City Stadium.
"He has only just signed a new contract and he has two years left on that, so I don't expect him to be going anywhere.""I totally believe Peter Whittingham will be a Cardiff City player next season," the Bluebirds boss said.
