Cardiff City chairman Mehmet Dalman has confirmed Neil Warnock will stay at the club next season.

Talks over Warnock's future had begun prior to the final game of the season - a win over Manchester United at Old Trafford - and an agreement has been reached.

"He is the best man for the job, there was never any doubt in my mind," Dalman said in quotes reported by the BBC.

"We all share the same vision. We will give [promotion] another go."
