Cardiff City are confident of the commitment of Neil Warnock.

Warnock's future is said to be in doubt, claim The Sun, because the Emiliano Sala tragedy is taking its toll on him.

They say senior Cardiff bosses believe Warnock is eyeing the exit door and the report has been followed up elsewhere.

However, asked specifically about the story on Tuesday night, Cardiff chairman Mehmet Dalman responded: "It's total nonsense."

He continued: "I was speaking to Neil only 30 minutes ago and we were discussing how the next three games will go.

"We were talking about Southampton this weekend and how Neil plans to build upon the excellent win against Bournemouth and the fine performance away to Arsenal."
