Cardiff City captain Mark Hudson is seeking a fresh start under new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

He has yet to make a top flight league appearance this season.

Hudson has been kept out of the team by Ben Turner, but told the Western Mail: "The reason I wasn't playing was because Caulker and Turner have been doing really well.

"I talked to Malky Mackay the whole time and he was always honest with me.

"We always got on, there was never any friction."
