Cardiff boss Warnock relieved to get back on touchline: Fantastic to shout at fourth official

Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock admits he was happy to be on the touchline for last night's defeat at Arsenal.

It marked their first game since the tragic disappearance of Emiliano Sala.

"First five minutes, to shout at the fourth official was fantastic," admitted Warnock, who opened up further on the difficulties of the past eight days since the tragic news.

"I can't explain really how it's been, but you've not really wanted to get out of bed. Really miserable and nobody could do anything about it.

"I know we've lost a game of football, but there are other things.

"In the circumstances - we worked on the system for 24 hours and who was going to play - they couldn't have given me any more.

"If we weren't mentally in the right place, we would have got turned over tonight. But I thought we were far stronger.

"It's disappointing (to lose) but all it shows is that we still have a chance, with the 15 games."
