Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock was delighted with victory over Brighton.
Cardiff striker Callum Paterson had cancelled out Lewis Dunk's early effort before Brighton were handicapped by Dale Stephens' 34th-minute dismissal for a studs-up challenge on Greg Cunningham. Then Sol Bamba grabbed a 90th minute winner.
"In fairness, Sharon my wife, she did tell me a couple of weeks ago that my luck is going to change from Thursday onwards," said Warnock.
"I'll have to get her a drink tonight. She's done well there.
"It was a fantastic finish to the game from our point of view. I can't really ask for any more. They're a good group of lads. We're a little bit limited in certain areas.
"We've improved so much from last year. We can only move as quickly as we can, that's why January is important to move again. The players are giving everything so I've got no complaints today."
