Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock is considering his future ahead of the January market.
The Daily Mail says Warnock could be forced to consider his future at Cardiff amid concerns he will not get the funding to keep them up.
Cardiff have the lowest wage bill in the Premier League and Warnock, who wants a midfielder and right back too, said: "We need more players, we do, but it is difficult, I can only do what I can do really.
"I can put names forward, but getting them over the line is not as simple as that really."
When asked if Cardiff were any closer to striking a deal to secure a forward, Warnock said: "No not at all. We're looking as best we can at where we can get players in. At the moment it looks very much like the loan market for us."
