Cardiff City manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists it was his decision to scrap their trip to Abu Dhabi this week.
It was reported chairman Mehmet Dalman cancelled the camp after defeat to Hull City.
But Solskjaer said: "I cancelled it after the game. We want to keep everyone together as a group and train.
"Their confidence has been knocked a lot so that is my main priority now. I want them to understand that if they play like they have at times then they will be fine. But the lapses in concentration cannot happen. They cannot concede easy goals like this.
"We are going to work hard this week, and maybe because of the extra day we now have we will have one or two extra sessions as well."
