Cardiff and Swansea close training grounds

ChampionshipSwansea City and Cardiff City have closed their training grounds as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, reports BBC Sport.

Swansea have shut their first-team facility at Fairwood plus their Landore academy until the weekend, when the situation will be reviewed.

Cardiff were due to train on Wednesday but their Vale of Glamorgan base will be closed until Monday at the earliest.

Swansea's players have been given individual training programmes to complete at home, while a Cardiff official confirmed boss Neil Harris' regular team training plans are on hold.
