Etienne Capoue has taken a swipe at Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood.
The French international has only started one game since Sherwood took over as Spurs boss in December. Fellow Frenchman, Nabil Bentaleb, has been preferred in midfield in recent matches, prompting Capoue to question if Tottenham understand his abilities.
In an interview with L'Equipe, Capoue said: "I'm not surprised. That's the English attitude. They don't know foreign players very well.
"It's tough. I've gone from first-team regular to someone who is putting themselves forward to play. It's the first time I have experienced this."
