England coach Fabio Capello admits he was anxious to cap Arsenal teen Jack Wilshere in last night's friendly win over Hungary.
Capello revealed Arsenal youngster Wilshere had been detained in hospital overnight on Tuesday night because of stomach pains.
Wilshere was able to return to the team hotel in the early hours of the morning and was only able to participate as a late substitute.
He said: "The new players played with big confidence. Jack Wilshere didn't play much because last night he was at the hospital.
"He had some problems, some big pain. He returned from the hospital at 5am.
"That is the only reason he played 10 minutes. The doctors said that he could play not a lot in the game."
