Capello rules out invited England players taking part in lap of honour

England boss Fabio Capello has ruled out invited players not with tonight's squad from taking part in a lap of honour after tonight's clash with Belarus.

While hard-liner Capello is happy to invite the likes of Michael Owen, Joe Cole and Owen Hargreaves into the dressing room after the game, he has drawn the line at a mass lap of honour.

Last night gaffer Capello insisted: "There is nothing to celebrate yet, this is just one game.

"We have invited all the players who have been in the squad but I don't think all of them will be at Wembley because some of them are from the North and it is a long trip back with training the next day.

"We will be happy for the players who are there with us and happy for those who are not. This is the family of the England team.

"They will watch the game from a special box and will come to the dressing room. But on the pitch? No."
