Former Russia coach Fabio Capello has questioned Fiorentina's deal for Spartak Moscow striker Aleksandr Kokorin.

Spartak confirmed the permanent move yesterday.

"Kokorin has all the qualities a forward needs to do well, but he needs to get accustomed to a different football and world around him," Capello told Radio Bruno.

“Integration and the language barrier are not problems to be underestimated. When you don't know the language, it becomes difficult even for a coach to make himself understood."

Capello added: "I have no issues with his abilities on the pitch. He was the great hope of Russian football, but lost his way.

“I cannot really comment on his character, because I only saw him for brief periods on international duty."
