England coach Fabio Capello has no plans of calling up Everton midfielder Mikel Arteta.
The Daily Mail says Capello wants the FA to take more of a role in determining which players are available, especially stars like Arteta and Manuel Almunia, the Arsenal goalkeeper.
On Wednesday night sources close to Capello said he had no intention of picking Spaniard Arteta for the Euro qualifiers against Bulgaria and Switzerland, leaving it to the FA to determine if they want players who only qualify on residency grounds.
