Speaking with Il Mattino, Capello believes the Azzurri can surprise their Champions League opponents on Tuesday night.
He said, "I saw a good team, especially against Udinese and Lecce. The start was not exciting, but there was a lack of fluidity. We have to give the new coach time. Tomorrow against Real Madrid will not be easy, but in the Champions League anything is possible."
"I think he did well to stay in Naples. It means he wants to win important trophies and to do so he has to stay here."
"This Napoli is still under construction. You have to show that you are a leader. With words and deeds. García is a leader who may have different ideas than those that preceded him, but he is evaluated daily by the players. The locker room realises everything: how you behave with the most important player but also with the least important."
"Real Madrid is history. If you win, you have fulfilled your duty, if not, you have done nothing. There they do not know what satisfaction is. There are two players who are above the others: Vinicius and Bellingham. Unfortunately for Napoli, the Brazilian is available again and will be one of the biggest dangers for Napoli's defence."
