Former AC Milan coach Fabio Capello has praised Inter Milan over their deal for Robin Gosens.

Gosens signed for Inter last week from Atalanta.

Capello said, “Inter signed Gosens with a view to the Champions League, but also to future seasons. It's an investment for the present, but also for the future."

Meanwhile, former Parma defender Lorenzo Minotti is also impressed by the deal.

Minotti said, “I would say that Gosens fits perfectly with the team's tactical approach.

“A really good choice for the team on a footballing level, Inter are at the top of the table and always thinking ahead, anticipating the market, sort of like what Juventus to do.

“I would say that this is an excellent strategy."
