Former AC Milan coach Fabio Capello has declared Inter Milan this season's title winners.

The Nerazzurri are nine points clear at the top if the table after Milan lost 1-0 to Napoli on Sunday.

Capello said, “I have bee saying it for weeks that Inter have won the championship.

“I have been saying this since Milan lost against Spezia and I reconfirm it today."

On Inter coach Antonio Conte, Capello added: “We have to congratulate him.

“He understood that playing more exposed going forward, gets more difficult.

“It was intelligent. In my opinion, Juventus are more complete in terms of squad than Inter. One more year of work with the same team did a lot for Conte, he knows the squad better now."
