England boss Fabio Capello will inform his players of the starting line-up for the Algeria match on game day.
The Italian tactician has done things this way since his days in charge of AC Milan when he used to tell the players the night before the match but he believes in now making the final decision on the same day as the match.
"Not the night before, always on the day of the game," he said.
"I remember, three times in my first year in management (at Milan) always, in that first year, I'd tell the players if they were playing on the day before.
"After dinner, I'd speak with the players and say whether they would play. But if they got injured the next day it was difficult to get the other players ready to play so I stopped. I have not done it since."
