Former England coach Fabio Capello is happy seeing Carlo Ancelotti take the Everton job.

Ancelotti has surprised many in Italy by agreeing to replace Marco Silva as manager at Goodison Park.

But Capello told Gazzetta dello Sport: "I am very happy.

“Carlo will have understood that in that club you can work in a certain way and that there are the foundations for an interesting project.

"Wherever he has gone, he has won. Ancelotti has a fundamental talent: he knows how to manage the pressure."
