Former Juventus coach Fabio Capello says Andrea Pirlo has inherited a squad on the decline.
Capello was reacting to Sunday's draw with Hellas Verona.
He said, "This Juventus is weaker than those of (Massimiliano) Allegri and (Maurizio) Sarri. It has something less in midfield than the others.
"The one who made the difference is (Federico) Chiesa who had problems in the first two months but has exceptional quality. The difference is he and (Cristiano) Ronaldo.
"The others have not seen each other. (Paulo) Dybala is missing, who creates, who dribbles. With Porto they played rugby, no one takes the initiative.
"(Dejan) Kulusevski is also an excellent player on the right, when he goes and focuses but cannot play up front."
