The agent of Fabio Cannavaro will hold new contract talks with Real Madrid sports chief Pedja Mijatovic this week.
Gaetano Fedele has scheduled a meeting with Mijatovic for immediately after Real's clash with Roma in Rome to discuss Canavarro's contract situation.
The Italy captain has less than 18 months running on his existing deal.
