Campbell urges Newcastle to be brave at Chelsea

Sol Campbell has urged Newcastle United teammates not to worry about facing champions Chelsea tonight in the Carling Cup.

Campbell sees no point in worrying about what Chelsea have done so far after watching them rattle in 26 goals to date this season.

He told the Evening Chronicle: "You have to be mindful of what they've done already, but you have to go there with the best plan.

"We need to set our stall out straight away. They've got strength in depth and a great squad, so it's going to be a tough game."

Campbell could be in for a rough ride from the Chelsea boo-boys tomorrow night, but the former Arsenal and Spurs man was cool about a return to the capital.

He said: "I do go back to London occasionally now.

"It's my home town, but I've played football up and down the country over the years so it doesn't really mean too much where I make my debut.

"It's not like I haven't played against difficult teams before."
