Fraizer Campbell hailed Yannick Bolasie after Crystal Palace's 1-1 draw with Newcastle United.
Bolasie was excellent on his return from the Africa Cup of Nations, making an instant impact from the bench when he crossed brilliantly for Campbell to equalise after Papiss Cisse had put Newcastle ahead.
Campbell said: "Yannick is that type of player, he gets the fans excited. They expect a lot of him but he has produced for them."
Campbell came on in the first half for Yaya Sanogo, whose hamstring injury was being assessed today.
"The team have been doing so well of late so it has been hard to get minutes on the pitch," said Campbell. "It was great to play but I am disappointed we did not take all three points."
