Cameron Humphreys tribute to Man City as he leaves

Cameron Humphreys has paid tribute to Manchester City as he leaves the club.

The 20-year-old 11 appearances in Premier League 2 last season and played twice in the EFL Trophy and made his first team debut in January 2016 in an FA Cup win over Aston Villa.

"As you all probably know by now I am no longer at Man City but I just wanted to say thank you for the last 6 years they have been very valuable for me and I learned a lot from all the amazing players and staff," the defender wrote on Instagram.

"I've met a lot of people who I can now call close friends. To all the staff, players and fans who have supported me on this journey I can't thank you enough you have all made this journey very special and I wish Man City the best for the future."

The 20-year-old has since signed for Belgian side Zulte Waregem with reports suggest Kompany advised the defender to make the move to the second tier Belgium side.
