West Ham United are believed to be showing significant interest in Esteban Cambiasso.
Reports suggest that the Hammers are keen on the Argentine midfielder who became a free agent recently when his one-year contract with Leicester City expired.
The 34-year-old, who recently turned down an offer to return to King Power Stadium, emerged on West Ham's radar last summer following his departure from Inter Milan but the east London club were beaten to his services by the Foxes and instead landed Alex Song from Barcelona.
While the Cameroon international remains a permanent option for Slaven Bilic, his ankle injury has denied a deal going through, which has prompted the Upton Park outfit to turn their attention towards Cambiasso who won Leicester's Player of the Year award last season.
