Inter Milan midfielder Esteban Cambiasso is happy in a defensive role this season.
The Argentine was again used at the back in the Europa League on Thursday and he insists that isn't a problem for him.
"It's up to the Coach where I play," the former Real Madrid enforcer stated. "One of my few strengths is that I put the team first.
"I was open to this option and that's how it should be.
"I've never felt out of place in that position because I played there as a kid and on the odd occasion when we were short under Jose Mourinho or Leonardo."
