Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin dedicated his double in victory over Chelsea to caretaker manager Duncan Ferguson.
With Ferguson taking charge for the first time since Marco Silva's sacking on Thursday, the Blues romped to a 3-1 win over Chelsea at Goodison Park.
“I'm over the moon, it's the first time I've scored two goals in a game. It was a massive win for us and obviously for Dunc, he loves the club. I've got a very close relationship with him, I'm happy to score two goals in this big occasion," he told BT Sport.
“I've known him for three years and he has stuck by me so that was my way of trying to repay him. We knew how big the game was today and how important it was that we got the win.
“The most important thing was that we came here and gave 100%, to get back to what we do best."
