Ramon Calderon insists no-one should be surprised that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez wants to rehire Jose Mourinho.

Earlier this week, former Real president Calderon announced on social media he expected Mourinho "to be on the Real bench next season".

And he expanded last night: "Florentino Pérez has already tried to bring him back a few months ago.

"Mourinho is the only coach he respects. He is able to win against the players and the media. I cannot be sure, but I am 90% sure he will lead Real Madrid next season.

"I think he will accept the offer, because it's not easy to say no to Real Madrid. Here, he was good and was supported, then he had problems, as he had elsewhere, but I insist, there is Florentino who really supports him."
