Former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has hit back at Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson. Ferguson branded Calderon a "buried dinosaur" after comments which led to fresh transfer speculation regarding Cristiano Ronaldo.

Calderon snapped back today, telling Marca: "I'm a buried dinosaur? I respect him as coach of Manchester United, but he must have some tremendous problems in his life because he seems a tormented man.

"He just opens his mouth and attacks the English League coaches and especially Real Madrid."
